About the Strong Interest Inventory®

The Strong Interest Inventory® was originally created in 1927 by E. K. Strong Jr. This Stanford University professor designed the assessment to measure vocational and educational interests, and to guide people in such pursuits. The major assumption behind this assessment is that people's daily interests are reflective of the types of work activities you should do. With almost 85 years of history, the Strong is the most widely used and well researched career interest assessment available. The reports below are great for choosing your college major, work training, or choosing your occupation itself. The Strong Interest Inventory is a perfect tool for anyone straight out of high school all the way to the person experiencing a mid-life career change. It has also been designed to work directly with the MBTI.
